Spring Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 6:00 pm, a pre-election public test on the electronic voting equipment to be used by the disabled and/or general public will be conducted.

The public test will be held at the Dupont Town Hall, N11297 Town Hall Rd. Marion WI. Anyone is welcome to attend.

                                     LOCATION AND HOURS OF POLLING PLACE

At the Spring Primary Election to be held on April 1, 2025, in the Town of Dupont of Waupaca County, the following polling place locations will be used:

Location – Dupont Town Hall – N11297 Town Hall Rd., Marion WI  54950

ALL POLLING PLACES WILL OPEN AT 7:00 A.M. AND WILL CLOSE AT 8:00 P.M.

If you have any questions concerning your polling place, contact the municipal clerk.

2025 Spring Road Weight Limits – Effective Monday, March 10, 2025 at 12:01am

PRESS RELEASE 

Casey Beyersdorf, Highway Commissioner for Waupaca County Highway Department has announced that spring weight limit restrictions will begin Monday, March 10th, 2025 at 12:01 a.m.  When the highways become firm, the spring weight limit restrictions will be lifted. 

Permit forms, maps and additional information can be found at Waupaca County Highway Department (waupacacounty-wi.gov) in the left tool bar. The seasonal weight restriction will be six ton load for a single axle vehicle and ten ton load for a tandem axle vehicle.  
These spring weight limitations will be enforced pursuant to Section 349.16 of the Wisconsin Statutes. 
We request all parties involved to abide by these limits in order to protect and preserve the structural capacities of the County Trunk Highway System.  If you have questions about the spring weight limit restrictions, please see our website or contact the Highway Department at 715-258-7152.

Notice of Town Caucus

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the electors of the Town of Dupont, Waupaca County, State of Wisconsin, that the Town Caucus for the Town of Dupont will be held at the Dupont Town Hall at 7:00pm on the 14th day of January 2025 for the purpose of nominating the following township offices: Chairman, Supervisors (2), Treasurer and Clerk. These offices will be voted for at the Spring Election to be held Tuesday April 1st, 2025.

 The Regular Board meeting will be held immediately following the Caucus.
